McClelland: Rolled Off Spinnerbait Too Quickly
As with Hill, the Red River Classic was McClelland’s best finish in the big show to date. In five prior appearances, his only finish better than 32nd place came in 2007 at Lay Lake, where he ended up 12th. While he did not dig quite as deep a hole as Hill on the first day of this year’s tournament, his 13-14 sack meant that he had some ground to make up.
